Mountain State University North Carolina's 2012 Leadership Seminar Series continues next week with a workshop on "Leadership Communications."
"The session will focus on skillful communication practices for leaders," explained the workshop's facilitator, Jimmy Atkins, Ph.D., an MSU faculty member. "This includes helping others understand your position, engaging and communicating with diverse stakeholders, leading teams in organizations, and empowering others to make decisions."
This third session in a free, eight-part seminar series takes place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25. All sessions in the series are being held at MSU Mooresville, Catalina Bay, 517 Alcove Road, Lake Norman, N.C.
MSU's Leadership Seminar Series kicked off in February with a discussion of "Leadership Character," presented by MSU faculty member Douglas A. White, Ed.D., and continued in March with "Transcendent Leadership," presented by Nicole Greer, founder of Vibrant Coaching and an MSU student.
