BECKLEY, W.Va. - Wayne Wormley, PhD, has joined Mountain State University's School of Leadership and Professional Development as associate dean, of the Doctor of Executive Leadership program.
Among his responsibilities, Wormley will direct and assist in the development and implementation of the doctoral program, as well as participate in student recruitment and faculty recruitment and development.
Wormley earned a B.A. in Psychology and Black Studies (double major) from Amherst College; an MBA, M.A. in Education and the Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration & Policy Analysis, all from Stanford University. He is a lifetime member of The National Black MBA Association.
Prior to joining Mountain State University, Wormley served as the Master Mentor for EQmentor, Inc. in Cornelius, N.C. A native of Hawkins, Tex., Wormley spent his formative years in Grambling, La. Currently, he is transitioning from Philadelphia, Pa., to Beckley, W.VA, with his wife, Maria, a native of South Africa.
